Happy New Year!

I would have to say that 2011 was an awesome year for my family.
God's love shone down, my marriage became stronger, my babies grew older, wounds were healed, moved back to our hometown, my niece was born, time flew by, we gained a new little family member {more to come on that later}, and memories were made!

Autumn was visited by the tooth fairy twice and now has two pretty adult teeth in their spots. She partied for her fifth birthday Tangled style and experimented with scissors. She shed her training wheels, showed off her swimming skills, and went to several vacation bible schools. And most importantly, made the best decision ever by asking Jesus to come into her little heart.

Aubrey went on a mission to save the fish and rode a pony for the first time. The second year of her life was celebrated with lots of Yo Gabba Gabba fun. She saw her first movie in a theater with great friends, slept in a tent for the first time, and happily rolled around in the sand at the beach. We got to call her Scooby for one night in October and she told us knock knock jokes every chance she got.

*****************************

We brought in the New Year at my parents house.
Aubrey was up snacking on veggies and dip and dancing around until she clonked out shortly after nine. Autumn tried SO hard to stay up until the ball dropped. She was playing, singing, dancing, and drinking her eggnog until she fell asleep at 11:35. SO close! But we woke her up like a minute before the ball dropped so she could count down with us. She gave us all kisses, wished everyone a Happy New Year!, blew her horn a few times, and then fell back to sleep in my arms.

While 2011 was good to us, there is always room for improvement. =)
I'm am very excited to see what 2012 will bring!!
Happy New Year everyone!!
