1. Notice the lack of blogging ALL last week! There has been several nights recently when all the lights are out in our house by 8:30pm. I blame it on the weather. The cold makes me a lazy bum.
2. Autumn is riding her bike without training wheels like a pro these days. She did just learn a couple of weeks ago how to balance the bike to take off without any help though. She was so proud of herself. She is going to be so excited when she sees her new and much bigger Monster High bike that my parents bought her for Christmas!
3. I've lost a total of 12 pounds since I started my eating healthier journey. It took a month to shed those pounds and now I am just trying to maintain the weight I am by continuing to eat healthy and exercise. I pretty much DESPISE any form of exercise so we will see how long this lasts.
4. My niece, Avery just turned 10 months on the 4th and is walking now. She is such a little sweetheart!
5. My sweetie pies had a playdate at "E's" house last night while me and the hubs had us a dinner date. We went to Texas Roadhouse and I chowed down on some yummy steak, fully loaded baked potato, salad, and an onion bloom. Oh and rolls, CANNOT forget about the rolls. We then went to Toys R Us to attempt to walk off some of our food and buy a few stocking stuffers. It was a lot of fun! And actually the first time that either of my girls were left with someone other than family {well, other than at church} so I was a bit nervous but they had such a great time too!
6. The girls love getting mail from their Nana. Their latest package was this adorable gingerbread house. Can you tell they were excited?!
7. I am almost as excited as my youngin's for Christmas.
8. Speaking of Christmas. My mom had a conversation the other day with Autumn that went like this:
Mom: "Autumn, what do you want Grandma to get you for Christmas?" {Referring to MY grandma}
Autumn: "Does she know anything about ponies? If so, I want a purple one."
Mom: "But don't you already have a lot of ponies? I'm sure you have a purple one already."
Autumn: "Well, I don't really care what anyone gets me for Christmas. All I care about is Jesus."
Hello?!!! Melt my heart!!!!

That pic of them with the gingerbread house is too cute!! Way to go on the weight loss! I'm allergic to exercise, I'm pretty sure. Ha! Avery is too cute.....love her pretty hair!

Hey, that is so great that you have had success with your eating plan and exercise. I wish I could get motivated...again! It is an ongoing battle for me. I eat healthy but I do not get enough exercise.
