I CANNOT BELIEVE that today is December 20th!!!
Christmas is fast approaching and we are beyond excited.
We have been busy with lots of fun Christmas festivities!
I mentioned before that the girls had a playdate with E recently. We actually had E come over to our house one night as well for dinner, baking, and crafts. I found this little Christmas tree idea on Pinterest and all of the girls loved making their trees and eating them too! I sent E home with a mega sugar high. I am sure her parents were loving me at that moment!
We decorated our house a few days before Thanksgiving this year. Aubrey decided she wanted the blue tree to be hers this year with pink decorations and Autumn picked out a purple tree for herself. Surprise Surprise. We also let them choose their yearly ornaments and Autumn grabbed a Rapunzel one (again, no surprises) and Aubrey choose a Mickey and Minnie ornament.
Aubs is such a crazy kid. The minute I say smile she always gives me the craziest faces.
Our church every so often has a night called Kidmo Primetime. I can't remember whether or not I have spoken about this super fun event on my blog before but basically it is a night where parents and kids ages 4 yeaers-6th grade come together and participate in games and worship like our kids typically do on Sunday mornings. The most recent one was Christmas themed! The best part was several kids got baptized! And we also had cupcakes to celebrate Jesus birthday! LOVE our church! These are some photos posted on our church's page.
Me and the girlies were able to catch our city's Christmas parade one cold Saturday morning. We were freezing and did all we could to stay bundled up together until it started. I think Autumn ended up with more candy after the parade then what she had on Halloween.
We've also visited Santa {that's another post} and have completed many other Christmas crafts. The majority of our days our spent together on the couch watching various Christmas movies and drinking more hot chocolate then we should. This is the main reason I love to finish my shopping so early. I get to relax and enjoy every moment of this time of year!
Last night we watched Polar Express as a family so tonight we are going to surprise the girls with a trip on the SUV Express. I found this idea on Pinterest and thought it would be the funnest thing. I'm so excited to see the look on their faces when they find their tickets!

Their little trees are so cute! What a great idea to let them each have their own. Maybe we can do that for hailey someday. For now we will wait since she would probably play with all the stuff on it. :)
