Christmas 2011

The gift opening started off as great as it could when the girls received their presents from Nana.
They got to open them on Friday mainly because Autumn was getting an Easy Bake Oven and I wanted her to bake some Red Velvet Cupcakes for Santa. Surprisingly, they turned out pretty good. Extra small but good!

On Christmas Eve we went to church for a Night of Worship and then picked up some pizzas for dinner since Dustin had a coworker joining us. Once he left, the girls exchanged their presents to each other. We also let them open one gift each from us and they gave us our gifts before heading off to bed so that Santa could come.

After reading the Christmas story, it didn't take long before they were zonked out in their beds and Santa brought lots of gifts shortly after!

I woke up around 7ish to Autumn staring at me from the end of my bed. When I asked her what she was doing she said "oh you know, just waiting for Aubrey and y'all to wake up so that I can open my presents!!!" We went ahead and woke Aubrey up and then ran to living room to see what he brought. They were definitely happy little girls!

After playing with their new toys and then trying to find places for them all to go, we loaded up and headed to my parents house for more gifts and Christmas lunch. My parents spoiled all three of those little girls this year!

But we still weren't done once Sunday was over! We all got up bright and early to head to my Grandparents house. I dread the drive{a total of 6 hours on the road} but the time we got to spend with them, the food, and gifts were worth every minute of that drive!
It's hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone as well as the fact that this year is coming to a close. Craziness! I hope that each one of you also had an awesome Christmas full of love, laughter, and lots of smiles but most importantly, remembered the true meaning behind this wonderful time of year!
