Birthday Fun at the Fair

Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes sent for Autumn through this blog, email, facebook, and twitter! Y'all are so sweet and she had an AWESOME fifth birthday!

While she was still sleeping, I grabbed all of the balloons from her party and put them in the bed with her.

She had a huge grin on her face when she woke up and noticed all of the balloons. I went running in there singing Happy Birthday to her and snapped this shot of her.

I had to watch O but we also had an extra kiddo in our house that day. A friend of ours needed me to watch her daughter this week so we had a house full. She is actually Autumn's besties little sister, Alicia. Autumn was thrilled to have her come celebrate with us. The phone rang nonstop that day with calls for Autumn. At one point I just gave her my phone and told her to answer if it rings because I was sure it would be for her anyway. Once O and Alicia left for the day, I got the girls ready and we all headed to the County Fair for the night!

We ended the night with Autumn's choice of dinner which meant a quick trip to Chick-fil-a and then headed home to put our kiddos to sleep for the night. I must admit that I got a bit teary eyed when tucking my sweet five year old into bed that night as I thought about how quickly this next year will fly by and the next and the next and so on....
